Instructions
1. Prep Ingredients
- Bring butter, cream cheese, and eggs to room temperature.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
2. Mix Wet Ingredients
- Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy.
- Gradually add sugar, then eggs (one at a time).
3. Combine with Dry Ingredients
- Gently fold sifted dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
4. Bake
- Pour batter into a prepared pan (loaf or round).
- Bake at 325°F (165°C) for 60–75 minutes.
5. Cool & Serve
- Let cool in the pan, then transfer to a rack.
- Slice and garnish with toppings (optional).
